NZ General Election 2023 – Preliminary Results
The general election was held on October 14, 2023.
The internal Labour polling leading up to the election had their party receiving 30% of the vote.
Would a Blue wave smash them? Of course it would.

On the night, (pre-Special Vote counting), Labour received 26.90% of the party vote, and National received 38.95%.

With ACT’s 8.98%, that’s still short of 50.01%, so they will likely need New Zealand First’s 6.46%.
